Priti is a person who leads with her heart; she exudes an aura of positivity and empathy; she motivates with every interaction and creates within each person a sense of positivity. We often hear from people that their experience of our school’s ‘vibe’ is this very experience, and we owe tribute to Mrs. Priti for imbibing in our school culture such idyllic values and dispositions that are reflective of her influence as a wonderful human being, educator and a leader in our community.
Mrs. Priti co-founded her first school under the mango tree of her very own charming British bungalow opposite Richards Park in East Bangalore in 1984. She named the school ‘Vidyaniketan Montessori House of Children’ meaning ‘House of Knowledge,’ and it was amongst the first few Montessori schools to be founded in Bangalore. Over the last 35 years, she has been instrumental in the founding of five successful schools that have helped shaped and define the culture of what great learning should and can be. Her strong expertise as a Montessori practitioner and educator in early childhood education significantly helps to shape and influence our practices.
“Looking back over our journey in the field of education over the last three decades and looking ahead, I am filled with a sense of gratitude, fulfillment, happiness and hope. I am deeply grateful to all our parents who have believed in us and given us the opportunity to help their children explore, learn and grow with us. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be a learner and to have served our community as an educator and mentor.” Priti Sait
