Learning Support

Inclusive Education Department

At Legacy School, we believe that children are unique and each has varying abilities of aptitude and potential. While many can work independently, or benefit from limited support, others need more specific support to advance. We aspire to provide an inclusive education, where our Inclusive Education (IE) department provides structured intervention programs for children with mild learning challenges.

The IE department prepares an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and also provides intervention for each child, depending on the individual needs of the student. All children who attend remedial classes are enrolled in the main school and participate in all academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.

The IE department is staffed with Special Educators who are qualified and trained to provide remedial education to children with identified challenges. Our Special Educators also have the opportunity to regularly collaborate with the Special Educators at our other campus, Vidyaniketan Academy – recently awarded the 7th best special needs center in the entire country.

The Special Educators discuss the IEP periodically with parents and update them on the progress of their child in conjunction with the Clinical Psychologist.
