Sameer is a natural leader, a collaborator and an educator with 15 years of school experience and 7+ years of entrepreneurial experience ranging from teaching across all levels of school i.e. upper primary, middle and senior secondary; integrating pedagogical innovations in curriculum, creating a favourable environment for the students and faculty members, fostering partnerships with educational institutions and organisations, administration, supervising staff and resource management. He has travelled over 15 countries and firmly believes that travel is the best form of education. He has designed experiential education programmes for children around the world with prestigious organizations like Johnson Space Center, Kennedy Space Center, CERN, McAfee and Intel to name a few. He has also worked with National Geographic Channel as a Project lead India for the school programme -UNLOCK HOUR.
He is a passionate teacher and is committed to helping young students find their path through conversations and counselling. He has been awarded the Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction for excellence in teaching and encouragement of and dedication to the academic success of students, by the National Society of High School Scholars, 2011. He has served on the board of Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition and has mentored teams which went on to become Asian and World Champions. He has also been invited to China to lead and judge China’s Space Settlement Design Competition in 2014. He has served as a visiting soft skills trainer for ICFAI Business School, Gurgaon. He has also served on the board of the North Zone Award Authority of Duke of Edinburgh Award for three years and have received a special award for his services.
He has worked as festival director for 7 years as a founder member of a peace festival “Saanjh” to restore peace between India and Pakistan. This project has been closest to his heart.
